The Touchscreen Challenge
The Peel Regional Police Association, headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, was looking for an innovative way for visitors to access an interactive memorial to both retired officers and those brought down in the line of duty.
Currently representing approximately 3000 Uniform and Civilian Members, the P.R.P.A. is the third largest police association in Ontario following the Ontario Provincial Police and the Toronto Police Association.
Working with Pell Regional Police Association staff, we built and hosted online a memorial wall that could be displayed in the headquarters of the Association as well as on their website. The interactive touchscreen enabled visitors to learn about officers who are no longer on duty, including biographies, photographs and duty details. The wall also provided a memorial to those that lost their lives while on duty.
